[Lea aka Lysitea](http://lea.sdm-net.org/) has written a really nice article about one of the key events of this years ball-season. As you may have already guessed this article is written in german. I’ve been there too, so I totally agree with what she says about it. Funny thing is that the dancefloor broke down when people started jumping simultaneously for some time. I wish all people out there reading my blog a happy new year! May it be as good as 2005 was – or even better. I hope you enjoyed last year as much as I did. 2006 will be another year of reading many books I hope since I got a whole lot of them for christmas. And I hope I got to write some more articles about Web Development – I’m going to tell you what I found out from [the Zen of CSS design](http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/0321303474/ref=pd_bxgy_text_1/302-7108177-5226406) and from [Eric Meyer on CSS](http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/073571245X/ref=pd_bxgy_text_1/302-7108177-5226406)! This is the more or less complete list of books I read in 2005. This year I’ve been reading a lot more than last year – I had a lot of fun with Terry Pratchett. You’ve got to read some of his books if you haven’t already done this. I also discovered the world of Douglas Adams, *The Hitchhikers Guide through the Galaxy*. Currently I read 2 of this 5 book series – I love Douglas’ humour!

Yesterday the WordPress 2.0 Release Candidate has been anounced. This means that its not going to take long until 2.0 final will be released. Have you ever wonderend how people can make perfect presents that look really good? I’ve been practising my whole life but couldn’t become a master. Anyway, I’ve developed a tricky technique that makes presents look good. Not very good, but good is enough for me. Try it out yourself.
