A meteor exploded over Russia’s Ural Mountains on February 15, injuring more than 1,000 people and causing damage to the Chelyabinsk region.
AGI aerospace engineers have used our Systems Tool Kit (STK) software to create a simulation based on publically available information showing the trajectory of the meteor, as well as the trajectory of asteroid 2012 DA14, which had a close approach today. Note that the simulation uses the published Meteosat 9 images, which captured the meteor’s contrails, to help locate the approximate path of the meteor. This analysis supports and explains in 3D the announcements by NASA and ESA that the meteor was unrelated to 2012 DA 14.

At season’s end, Darren Berrecloth and Sam Hill join Burry Stander and Christoph Sauser in Zermatt, Switzerland to share a trail ride on the 2012 Stumpjumper FSR. 4 different riders with 4 different styles and all agree that the Stumpjumper is the 1 bike they’d want if 1 bike was all they had.

Malcolm’s first Descent of the first ramp on Hellion at Highland Park (age 4 yrs). Thanks everyone for your encouragement and comments. Malcolm lives in Maine. We ride often at Highland Mtn Bike Park enjoying not only the incredible trails, but the supportive and friendly community and staff which Mark Hayes has created. Kudos to all of you there, and thanks for having us. Malcolm also participted in The Maine Youth Bike Race Seris (in Falmouth, ME) this past summer. It’s another wonderful place for kids to get together to ride and have fun. Thanks to Andrew Freye for organizing this event.
Malcs is indeed 4 years old and hopes that this video will encourage other kids and their caregivers to get out there and ride! Again, glad people are enjoying the video
